FAQ

Netherlands Questions

Do I need an employer before moving to the Netherlands?

For non-EU nationals, work in the Netherlands normally requires an employer-sponsored route — for example the Highly Skilled Migrant scheme through an IND-recognised sponsor, or a work permit (TWV) the employer applies for. We help you understand which route may apply.

Are logistics and warehouse jobs open to non-EU candidates?

Some are, but for many roles the employer must first show the vacancy cannot be filled from within the EU. Availability changes with the labour market, which is why every profile is assessed individually.

How long does the process take?

It depends on the route, the employer and the IND's processing times. We give you a realistic timeline after reviewing your profile and the specific opportunity.
